NNB-BEST (NNB-BEST) – Chemical two-component composite (paste-paste system).
NNB-BEST (NNB-BEST): Chemically Cured Composite for Uncompromising Restoration. NNB-BEST is a high-quality, two-component, chemically cured composite designed for clinical situations requiring maximum strength, durability, and independence from light polymerization. Featuring a "paste-paste" system (15 g Base + 15 g Catalyst), it is an ideal solution for restoring massive defects, core build-up, and cementation of prosthetic structures in areas inaccessible to a curing light.
Choose NNB-BEST when you need a material that guarantees a controlled working time and deep, complete curing regardless of layer thickness.
Key Properties and Technological Advantages: Chemical Curing (Light-Independent): The material guarantees complete and uniform polymerization at any depth, which is critical for deep cavities, large restorations, and core build-up where the effectiveness of the curing light may be limited. This eliminates the risk of incomplete polymerization and subsequent reduction in strength. High Mechanical Strength: Thanks to a high filler content and an optimized matrix, NNB-BEST exhibits extraordinary compressive and flexural strength. This makes it an ideal material for core build-up and abutment areas that are subjected to significant occlusal loads. Minimal Shrinkage: The chemical curing system ensures a low level of polymerization shrinkage compared to light-cured materials. This enhances marginal integrity and reduces the risk of microleakage. Convenient "Paste-Paste" System: The two pastes (Base and Catalyst) are easily mixed in equal proportions, providing a controlled working time and allowing the clinician to work at their own pace. Radiopacity: The material has high radiopacity, making it easy to distinguish from tooth structure on X-rays, simplifying diagnosis and quality control of the restoration.
Indications for Use: NNB-BEST is a versatile composite for the most complex tasks: Core Build-Up: Creating a monolithic and strong foundation for indirect restorations (crowns, bridges). Restoration of Large Cavities: Especially Class I and Class II cavities that have deep areas or complex access for light. Post Cementation: Used for luting anchor and fiberglass posts in root canals (in combination with adhesive systems). Indirect Restorations: Fabrication of inlays and onlays in-office. For example, using CAD/CAM technology (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing), where the process becomes faster: Scanning – Modeling (computer) – Milling – Cementation. "In-office" means everything happens during a single patient appointment, over several hours.
Working Protocol (Recommendations): To achieve maximum bond strength, it is recommended to use NNB-BEST with an appropriate 5th or 7th generation adhesive: Preparation: Cavity preparation and adhesive application according to the protocol (including etching). Mixing: Mix equal amounts of Paste A and Paste B on a mixing pad until a uniform color is achieved. Application: Place the material into the cavity or around the post. The controlled working time allows for precise material shaping. Curing: The setting time in the oral cavity is typically 3–5 minutes (depending on temperature). Finishing: After setting, the material can be finished and polished like a conventional composite.
NNB-BEST offers reliability and quality that is independent of light, providing you with full control over the process and a long-lasting result.
